This was the first time Navy Pier had been completely shut down since 1941 during World War II. Empty streets, a silent Milton Lee Olive Park, the entire eastern bay turned into a ghost town for over a year because of the 2020 covid shutdown. A sight Chicago may not witness again for a very long time. From this rare skyline perspective, you see the quiet eastern bay, the not-yet-finished Vista Tower, and a glowing cityscape combined by Chicago’s beautiful fall colors.
